About 
Life Drawing is an immediate expressive and invigorating practice that keeps you on your toes. Keeping your mind occupied in intense focus is a very mindful relaxing and enjoyable practice. It's a creative place to build resilience and bravery in your art making, to surprise yourself, play, experiment and hone your skills. 
This morning  drawing class will feature a different model every week. Each class will have a theme, start with live demonstrations of different approaches and material techniques  in life drawing by the tutor, and will include space to experiment alongside practicing the essential fundamentals of life drawing, like comparative measuring and proportions. We will experiment with loosening up exercises like blind drawing and drawing the moving figure. 
Suitable for complete beginners, folk building a portfolio for applying to Art school or seasoned artists can opt to do their own thing. Jen will  be on hand to support, encourage and share insights from a wealth of life drawing experience. 
The Tutor 
Jennifer Robson is a figurative artist based in Fife. She is a Duncan of Jordanstone College graduate and a life drawing tutor at the University. She also has a home studio in Ladybank where she offers weekend workshops and weekly classes.
Jen works in graphite, pastels and oil paint. Her work explores humanity's connection with nature. She creates meditative detailed drawings of the figure in and as nature itself, bodies become landscapes, erupting from the undergrowth, inhabiting the vibrant and relentless power of nature. A woman's reaching body becomes a tree, or the Artist's face emerges from the chaos of plants, struck by the awe of the natural world. Jen is also has an experimental life drawing practice which informs her work as a life drawing tutor, which inturn influences her practice.
