2011 Lead Artist-Blood and Roses Poorboy theatre company as part of Made in Scotland Showcase, Edinburgh International Festival. An audio journey play through site specific public and private places in Edinburgh. Featured 40 original works, including a full size paper wedding dress, sculptural paper miniature village installations created to commission to accompany the play.

Quiet Stars Festival Exhibition, Bon Papillion, Edinburgh

2010 Lead Artist on the production of 'Blood and Roses' with Poorboy Theatre Company, Trongate, Glasgow. Featured over 20 original pieces of art including diorama storyboxes, drawings, oil paintings, a wedding dress fabric sculpture, wall collage and installations made specifically for the play.

2017 Crohn's Animal Animation.

Concept, character design of a dragon as a personification of Crohn's Disease, storyboard for animation sequence for Crohn's Disease. Original Artwork and animation for McCann Healthcare NY + Stelara + Edit One

2006 Portrait Commission Chairman of St John's Football Club Perth.

 

Teaching Experience

2017 Global Change Creations Devised a three part CLPL workshop series to explore art as a tool of engagement in global issues. Teachers were encouraged to make drawings, play with recyclable plastic as a creative material and created a coral reef themed installation in the final week.

Our World to Save, Exhibition One World Centre, Dundee Artwork created by and installed with young people involved with Creative Programme with Hot Chocolate Trust at the Steeple Church, Dundee.

Drawing the Collections, Developed CPD workshop for to encourage teachers to work with D'Arcy Thomson and Dundee University Archives.

Drawing the Dream working with Dundee City Council Creative Learning team. Devising a four part CPD workshop series for teachers questioning What is Art? Developing, creating and delivering experimental drawing and painting workshops for teachers to encourage them to enjoy the process. They fed back to schools as their school's arts champion.

2016 Artist, One World Centre Creative Programme.

The Garden Project engaged young people in global issues surrounding food, through outdoor creative experiences. The young people learned about seasons, and growing sustainable food at the Maxwell Centre Garden to gain ideas and then planned and imagined miniature garden spaces in clay, wrote a story together called The Sacred Tree and illustrated their story on plant pots.

Storytelling for a Greener World, Hilltown Family Picnic. A drop in Storytelling tent where participants listened to and told stories whilst creating simple ephemeral sculptures with found garden objects and play doh.

Volunteer at Hot Chocolate Youth Centre, Exodus Summer Programme, Dundee

2015 Artist with the One World Centre, Dundee Creative Programme.

The project included working with vulnerable young people using creativity to engage them openly in global issues. Our theme was Home, Immigration and Refugees. We created exploratory artwork in many forms including drawings, paintings, sculpture, video, creative conversation, sound art and poetry. This resulted in an exhibition held in 2016.

Creative Catalysts-The Beauty of Maths and Measuring Creative Conversations pilot with Education Scotland, Dundee Contemporary Arts, Forfar Academy Maths Department, Duncan of Jordanstone Architecture Department.
